Roaming through the Black Hills from North to South and East to West.

Yesterday we went to Devils Tower. It rises 1,267 ft above the Belle Fourche river, standing 867 ft from base to summit. The summit is 5,112 ft (1,559 m) above sea level.

Drove through South Dakota today to Spearfish where we’ll be staying for the next 7 days.

Le même paysage sur 500 KM. 😟

Found a cute little city campground for our first stop of our summer adventures. It’s right on the river with direct access to walking and biking path. 😁

If you ever get the chance to go to Autrans in the Vercors, please stay at the hotel de la Buffe @hotel_restaurant_la_buffe

The owners, a young couple, are absolutely amazing. I wish we had more time. I would have loved to hear more about their story with this property.

They bought the place at the end of 2019, then you know what happened in 2020. They have a remarkable attitude, are super friendly and survived Covid.

And did I say the food was excellent too? 🍲

We will be back 😄

Good luck for this season.
