Wine tasting at @rivaura_wine Estates on a hot afternoon in Lewiston, ID.

Good wine, great view and great company.

What else can you do in 110 degree F (43 Celsius) weather?

Rode Hells Canyon, 60 miles up river. Saw bighorn sheep, rafters (a lot), self-contained cabins (no electricity, water or sewer), hieroglyphs, and a few rapids. Captain Clayton and first mate Boyd from @snakedancerexcursions did an amazing job navigating traffic, they even brought lunch for all of us which we enjoyed on our first stop. Fruit trees flourished all over the grounds, apricots were fully mature so we were able to enjoy a few of them. Then later-on a welcome stop along the shore to cool down in the Snake River, then back on the boat for the return trip.
