Sunday is Food shopping planning day.

Living on the road full time makes it difficult to plan meals in advance. I end-up throwing food away often. I started planning meals ahead of time while allowing space for the unexpected along the way. I confess that I have not master that behavior yet. #stopthewaste

DYK that there is enough food to feed the world’s 7 billion people, and yet 811 million people go to bed hungry each night? At the same time, 1/3 of all the food is lost or wasted, amounting to about $1 trillion annually! If we could reverse our food wasting habits, we could help the @WorldFoodProgramme end hunger, for good.

A bike ride is always welcome. It’s not the first thing you think about doing when in Nashville but this is what we did. Rode the Music City Bike Way from Percy Priest trail head to Two Rivers Park Trail head. 16 miles round trip on what I would call a challenging trail ride for untrained riders. After all this effort, we had to stop at the local brewery for a drink. Bad Idea Brewery company in Columbia, TN opened 2 years ago and makes great tasting beers. Only 6 beers to choose from. We enjoyed the simplicity of the menu.
