A Holiday Getaway – Gift an Experience this Holiday Season!

The Holidays are stressful. So why not give the gift of travel this Holiday Season? If you are like us, we like to find unique places to get a break from our daily life. These five boutique hotels have everything we look for when we want to unwind on a short vacation. Local and unique elements found only in the neighborhoods where they were built. The restaurants are well known, attract locals, and every detail is well thought-out to ensure a memorable experience to each individual visit.

Life House Hotel, Miami

The Life House Hotel Miami Beach is a beautiful beach cottage located steps away from the ocean but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of South Beach. The house personified the home of an artist leaving by the sea. As soon as you step in, the stresses of life melt away and you’ll feel immediately immersed in the beauty of South Florida.

Yotel, New York

Located in midtown Manhattan, this New York Hotel offers one of the largest outdoor terraces in town. Rooms are called Cabins. From the moment you walk through the front door, you will experience the awesomeness of this hotel. If you like technology you will be happy to find a plethora of gadget, but the best is “Arthur”. Arthur is the name I gave the Robot that got our luggage.

Old NO. 77 Hotel & Chandlery, New Orleans

The Old NO. 77 Hotel is located in the Warehouse District a few steps from the French Quarter. Its historic architectural details and fun design elements from 1854 remains true to its roots. The hotel features exposed brick and hardwood floors, while the lobby pays tribute to the building’s legacy. No need to go out for dinner. “Compère Lapin”, the hotel restaurant, brings unparalleled flavors of the Caribbean, French and Italian aromas into each plate.

The Alida Hotel, Savannah

The Alida Hotel is located a short drive from the airport in the historic district of Savannah.  This boutique hotel was recently renovated in a modern feel with a retro theme and eclectic style. The restaurant “Rhett” attracts locals. You’ll love the elegant décor, but mostly enjoy the fun and casual vibe as well as the approachable, yet delicious food.

Gallatin River Lodge, Bozeman

This hotel is a classic Montana lodge located 15 miles from downtown Bozeman with large comfortable rooms to enjoy after a day of fishing. The staff will take care of all the arrangement including fishing license and lunch. The view of the Mountains is breathtaking. As all the other places I selected, this lodge has amazing food with every dish made to order and served in the most gracious way.

Enjoy life, travel, discover, experience new things and be kind to each other.
