Found a cute little city campground for our first stop of our summer adventures. It’s right on the river with direct access to walking and biking path. 😁

If you ever get the chance to go to Autrans in the Vercors, please stay at the hotel de la Buffe @hotel_restaurant_la_buffe

The owners, a young couple, are absolutely amazing. I wish we had more time. I would have loved to hear more about their story with this property.

They bought the place at the end of 2019, then you know what happened in 2020. They have a remarkable attitude, are super friendly and survived Covid.

And did I say the food was excellent too? 🍲

We will be back 😄

Chocolate lovers , be aware!

The idea of the Cité du Chocolat was born in 2006 following numerous educational events initiated by Valrhona, including the “Nuits du Chocolat” in 1987 and especially the “Destination Chocolat” exhibition in 1992.
During this traveling exhibition presented at the Palais de la Découverte, the Guimet Museum, in Marseille, Bordeaux and Strasbourg, more than 500,000 visitors went behind the scenes of Valrhona chocolate. From here, the Cite was born. Located in Thain L’hermitage in the Rhône Valley is a must stop.
